MYSELLERHQ / FBA PROFIT CALCULATOR
What you actually keep per unit
Most FBA calculators stop at the referral and fulfillment fee. That is the number that makes a product look profitable. This one includes storage, advertising, inbound shipping, and the cost of returns — the four that decide whether it actually is.

Common questions
Why is my Amazon profit lower than I calculated?
The three costs sellers most often leave out are per-unit advertising, amortized storage, and returns. A 3% return rate on a product with a $7.50 cost of goods and a $5.68 fulfillment fee quietly removes about 40 cents from every unit you sell — including the ones that were never returned.
What is a healthy FBA margin?
Most established sellers target 15-25% net margin after all fees and advertising. Below 15% you have very little protection against a fulfillment fee increase, a competitor price war, or a bad return month. Below zero, advertising makes the problem bigger rather than smaller.
Does this calculator include the referral fee?
Yes. The referral fee is a percentage of the selling price and varies by category, so the calculator sets a common rate from the category you pick and lets you override it. Confirm the exact rate for your category and price band against Amazon’s current fee schedule, because Amazon revises them.
What is break-even selling price?
The price at which this product stops losing money, given your costs and the referral percentage. It is the number to know before you match a competitor’s price, because it tells you where matching them turns into paying for the privilege of shipping boxes.
